Redemption Kids

We seek to see whole families flourish at Redemption Tucson, and we believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders of their families. As your church family, we provide you with many tools, resources, and opportunities to grow and lead your family. Parents are free to bring their children into the worship service or check them in to Redemption Kids – a safe, fun, Bible-centered environment for children on Sunday mornings.

First Time Guests

To ensure smooth check-in on your first visit, arrive a couple minutes early and go to our Check-In kiosk in the main courtyard area near the field. Our Children’s Director will be happy to assist you in registering your family in our secure check-in program, answering any questions you might have, and directing you to your classroom.

Kids are also always welcome in the main service. We believe the service can be a shaping place for our children. There are sermon based activity packets and crayons available when you walk in.

meet our kids director, Rachel Hartke!

Rachel was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona, and grew up attending the church that is now Redemption Gilbert. She moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona where she studied Art History and Business. After college, she married her best friend, Nate, in 2007. Throughout college, they came to love Tucson and decided to stay and raise their family. They now have three energetic kids, Micah, Madelyn, and Benjamin. Their family activities include soccer, desert walks, and board games. Rachel’s favorite things to do are read, drink coffee, and cook. Her involvement with kids ministry started early on in high school when she served on her church’s childcare team. It continued throughout her young adult life serving in various capacities at church. What excites her the most about her role as Redemption Kids Director is partnering with families as they introduce their children to the Gospel and to lay the foundations for knowing and loving the Bible.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

Redemption Kids is made possible by volunteers who want to provide intentional, loving care for the children in our community. Our volunteers go through a thorough screening process, which includes an application and background check, age appropriate training, and classroom observation. If you would like to volunteer with Redemption Kids, you can fill out the volunteer interest form below or email Rachel for more information.
