Advent Series - The Light of Christ

Advent is a traditional part of the Christian Calendar. It literally means “the arrival” and is a time that we look back at Jesus’ first arrival, but also a time we look ahead to his second coming with eager anticipation.

This Advent season, we will be looking together at how the Light of Christ shines into our world in stark contrast to our broader culture.  We believe that Christ is a brilliant beacon displaying a better story for our weary world.

In a world that seems to be devoid of meaning, we believe the Light of Christ brings True Hope. (Sunday, November 27th)

In a world that seems to be flooded with anxiety, we believe the Light of Christ brings Lasting Peace. (Sunday, December 4th)

In a world that seems to be captivated by consumerism, we believe the Light of Christ brings Genuine Joy. (Sunday, December 11th)

In a world that seems to be enraged by their “enemies”, we believe the Light of Christ brings Costly Love. (Sunday, December 18th)

In a world that is desperate for a better story, there is a Triumphant Christ who invites us into his story of redemption. (Saturday, December 24th)
