The subtitle for Paul Miller’s book, A Praying Life, is ‘Connecting with God in a distracting world’. Many people in our church family are experiencing a great deal of pain, confusion, loss, and fear–but the sad irony is that prayer feels like too much effort and too much work. Miller describes prayer as looking something like children running to their Father for help. We are planning a very simple night to give us all some space to slow down to simply pray. There will be some guidance if you don’t feel like you even know where to start, but the primary format will be to clear out some space for us to run before our Father together.
Sunday 10/13, 6-8pm, at 625 N 2nd Ave, Tucson, AZ 85705 (Vineyard Christian Community).
Note: There will not be food or childcare for this event.
